Welcome "No Cheat", you have chosen the road less traveled. This is the harder road also, this method isn't as fool proof as the other, but the challenge is what makes it fun. First thing we will do is plan 2 weeks from the draft day.
1. The draft is in 2 weeks, what do you want to do now? Simple, who are your 2 best scouts? Figure that out now. Great we have them chosen? Good, lets move on.
2. Add the top, oh I dunno, 40 or so players from the CSB rankings to your shortlist. Now assign one of those scouts to your short list and the other to your own team. This is week 1, it should be enough time to get a read on the players. You can start this sooner if you want, I am just cutting it close for fun!
3. Mark down all the players scout #1 thinks are 4's and 5's, we all know he could be wrong, but...
4. Now add scout #2 to your short list and the other scout to your own team. No, adding one to your own team isn't necessary, but if you don't have one of your best scouts on your own team, I dunno what you are thinking anyway.
5. Scout #2 has his reads now, get all the players that were 4's and 5's from his list. While it is true a scout can be wrong no matter how good his stats are, can 2 good scouts be wrong? Sure they can, but it is less likely.
6. Match up the 4's and 5's, if there is a player or 2 who match up 5's, he is your jackpot. If someone is 5 for one and 4 for another, he is pretty good. If there are no matches, this draft isn't very good now is it?
What do the 4's and 5's mean?
I knew someone would ask that. You didn't read Tab by Tab did you? Anyway. The 4's and 5's mean:
When you look at a players profile and he is scouted, some pucks appear beside the little book that says "scouting", this is the rating the scout gives him out of 5. 5 pucks means good player. But since we are scouting the draft, lets make it easier. (Screen shot time)

Notice the area that says 'RA'? That is where the players rating goes once he is scouted, Just like the green #'s in the Tab by Tab walk through, and the pucks in the profile, this number is always consistent with the scout who scouted him. It is always out of 5. Once your scout has collected his say on the payers in the CSB rankings, it is best to just view this screen again to get all your 4's and 5's. Got it? Here is your screen shot with the numbers in it:

Gotta love when the #1 prospect is a 1 huh? Ok, I'll be honest, I didn't use a very good scout for this example, I didn't wanna ruin the fun for you if you use this same file (located on the main page in EHM updates).<====another shameless plug.
Ok I knew this, take me to Cheat
